In order to have a close relationship with someone it helps to know their personality. I have been seeking to know more about God for a long time. If you have come from another of my pages you may already know that I am open to what God will teach me. If I have developed any wrong ideas about Him or about His Word then I don't want them! It is my desire that God's opinions be the only opinions I hold.

I was not raised in any type of regular Christian teachings. Yes, I went to Sunday School and church but the things I learned I learned from my own reading of the Bible. I have read the Bible through many times. I have read the New Testament many more times than I have the Old Testament. I have a concordance, Bible dictionary, topical Bible, and other study helps that have enabled me to do my own cross-referencing and research. I tell you this because I want you to understand that I do not believe in the Trinity because teachers have told me it is so. I believe in the Trinity because I see it for myself.

I have color coded my Bible. I have underlined in light blue any Trinity-related items. I went through and wrote down all the things I have highlighted in light blue over the years for my own use. Since then I have been asked to share those things. I met someone over the Internet that had been under other teachings that deny the existence of a Trinity relationship between God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. While praying about what to say I felt led to develop a web page using my notes. What you see here is the result. (Note: this is not an all-inclusive list)

I do not understand how God could have been on His throne at the same time that Jesus was on earth. I do not understand how Jesus could cry out to God asking why God had forsaken Him when He was God in a fleshly body. I don't understand those things any more than I understand how God made man out of the dust of the earth, how He can read our thoughts, nor how He is love. I can never attain knowledge about all the things of God. In Isaiah 55:8 God says, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways."

God has placed the idea of the Trinity deep within my heart. He gave me a peek into how He is in me in the form of the Holy Spirit. He showed me how my body is not a solid object. It is made up of molecules, neutrons, and other small objects. He told me that the space around all those things is filled with the Holy Spirit. If I am walking in the Spirit and do not try to throw up any self-protection in the form of words, thoughts, and deeds that promote myself then people can see Him in me because He IS in me!

Please don't write to me and try to tell me that I am committing blasphemy or I am going to hell for my beliefs about the Trinity. I have sought God's face on my own and have received His assurance that I am doing fine. I am not seeking approval from men, only from God. All I am doing here is presenting to you the scriptures that spoke to me. It is up to you to seek the truth for yourself by seeking a personal relationship with God. I can't help you there.
