TIRED AND THIRSTY

Separator

"Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour. There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink."
John 4:5-7

Are you tired and weary of the struggles you face every day?  Jesus understands as He also was weary. Sometimes we forget or don’t realize that Jesus understands completely the heartaches, trials, and temptations that we face in this life.  He endured loneliness, heartache, and temptation.

He was thirsty and He asked the woman for a drink of water to refresh Him.  We were not there to give Him a drink of water, but we can give our family, loved ones, and friends encouragement and love.  We can quench the thirst in their hearts for love and understanding by extending the Love of Jesus to them.

Are you giving Jesus a drink of water by encouraging and loving people?  Are you giving Him a place in your heart to live?  I urge you to make Jesus happy by the way you treat your family, loved ones, and friends.
