SHINING FOR JESUS

 "Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee."
 Isaiah 60:1

Are you shining for Jesus, or are you walking in the darkness with satan?  If you have accepted Jesus into your heart as your personal Savior, then you have the Light of Jesus in your heart.  If you constantly walk around with a frown or with a bad attitude, then you are not shining for Jesus.

The verse says, "Arise".  That involves getting up from your chair and doing things that will point others to Jesus.  Have you called anyone today and told him or her, "Jesus Loves you"?  Have you hugged your children and spouse and said I really love and appreciate you?

Have you told your Pastor and his wife that you really appreciate all they have done for you?  We have many opportunities to shine for Jesus.  Sometimes we are not even aware of them, or are too lazy, or just don’t care about shining for Jesus.

I challenge all of us to shine for Jesus and make the Heart of Jesus happy.  The Light of Jesus inside your heart might just be the Light that will keep someone from total despair.  Please don’t hide the Light of Jesus.
