ALL GLORY TO GOD

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16

I have had several people say to me that I should be very proud because my writings are on so many websites and to this I reply:
TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY
FOR IT IS HE AND HE ALONE
WHO IS WORTHY OF OUR PRAISE

I spent sixteen years without a desire to live.  I feel humbled that God Loves me so much to give me a reason to live and allow me to serve Him.  I have also had some people say to be careful that I don’t let all the attention go to my head.  When they said that to me, I was very hurt and it dampened my commitment for a couple of days every time it was said to me.  God finally spoke to my heart and said they were jealous.

I submit to you on the Authority of the Word of God that if your heart is where it needs to be with Jesus then you will not be tempted to become proud.  You will stand in awe that the King of Kings and Lord of Lords would allow you to serve Him.  Many people do not realize that it is not only our duty to serve Jesus, it is also a privilege.

Sometimes we say the name of Jesus so much that it becomes just another word to us.  May God forgive us! Every time that we utter the Precious Name of Jesus, our hearts should rejoice with gladness and joy that we are allowed to say His Name.

Once again, I say to you that all Glory belongs to God!  The Bible says that we are to rejoice with one another.  If you are a Christian, then you need to be filled with joy when you see the Name of Jesus exalted.  For those of you who are reading this and can’t say or don’t know for sure that you have made a heart commitment to Jesus, then you need to be sure even as you read this.  Simply say this prayer, Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner.  I ask You to forgive me, come into my heart and save me and help me live as You want me to live.  In Jesus Name, Amen.

Someone made the comment “I have never told a lie, cheated, stolen anything, or killed anyone so I am not a sinner”.  That is contrary to the Word of God.  The Bible says that we come into this world as a sinner because of Adam and Eve sinning in the Garden of Eden.  Don’t let satan fool you into thinking that just because you are a good person that you will go to Heaven.

I heard a Pastor say in a sermon, “If you are searching your own heart to see if it is pleasing to Jesus, then you won’t have time to criticize and condemn somebody else.”
