GOD’S BLOWER
"Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the
ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of
the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law
doth he mediate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the
rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf
also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly
are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore
the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the
congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knoweth the way of the
righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish." While waiting for my ride at Wal-Mart this morning, I heard
this loud noise. It was a lady blowing leaves with a blower.
It immediately reminded me of how Jesus blows the filth and stench of
satan from our hearts and the world. If we are not grounded and
rooted in the Love and Protection of Jesus, we are like the chaff which is
blown away by the wind. Have you allowed Jesus to plant His Love in your Heart?
Has there ever been a time when you told Jesus that you knew you were a
sinner and on your way to hell for Eternity? Have you invited the
King of Kings and Lord of Lords to come into your heart and save you?
If you have only made a verbal and head commitment to Jesus, then you are
just as lost as the person who has never asked Jesus to save him or her.
We wonder why we don’t prosper in our jobs, marriages, homes
and lives, it is because we are not delighting in Jesus. We have not
put Him first in everything we say or do. We go places that bring
shame to Him. How dare we ask Jesus for anything when we treat Him
like we do? Are you being blown by the filth and stench of satan, or are
you firmly rooted in the Protection of Jesus? You may think that you
have a long time to decide about accepting Jesus into your heart. I
submit to you on the Authority of the Word of God that you may die even
today. None of us has the promise of even another minute. O
that we would grasp how the Heart of Jesus is yearning for us to come to
Him! I can tell you from personal experience that there is no Friend
like Jesus! There is no one who Cares and Understands like Jesus!
Please don’t wait to give your heart and life to Jesus. Your family
wants to meet you in Heaven. Jesus is waiting for you with His Arms
open and eager to pick you up and set you on His Lap of Love and Mercy.
Swallow your pride and run into the waiting Arms of Jesus. October 15, 2005 |
