Comments: Thank you for your wonderful page!!! It has lifted my heart this morning as I am struggling with who (and what ) God wants me to be in Him. I am a wife and mother, but also have a fulltime job. God has turned my heart away from the job lately, because He is preparing me to do something else for Him. My work away from home (the job) has been a ministry in which I have been privileged to share the Lord with many here. But now, after 16 years, the job is over, and it's time to move on. Where He will move me, I don't know, but in the meantime, He has turned my heart away from the job and I am rediscovering that all I need to be right now is wife and mother. The worker part I can let go of for a while. Only trouble is, I have identified myself with it, and need to re-envision myself. Please pray that God would help me to see myself primarily as His child, then I can do and do and be whatever He wants me to--job or no job. Amy Grant says all we ever have to be is what He makes us. I am agreeing with this more and more. Thank you again for inviting me into your home and life. I have felt very welcome. God is surely here! |
