For many years, off and on, I took very strong sleeping pills, as I could not sleep.  They did not work as I would still toss and turn all night long.  When I made a heart commitment, instead of a verbal and head commitment to Jesus, I started going to sleep as soon as I went to bed.  Most of the time I don’t even remember going to bed, that is how well I slept.

I was not his beloved when I was having all that trouble sleeping.  I was very bitter in my heart toward people.  I had hatred and resentment in my heart.  It is no wonder I couldn’t sleep.

How about you, are you having to take sleeping pills every night?  Go to Jesus and allow Him to give you a heart checkup.  He will take away all the bitterness, resentment, and hatred in your heart.  I promise you that your sleep will be sweet.

Not only was I unable to sleep at night, I was breaking the Heart of Jesus by my attitude toward others.  How is your attitude toward others?  Is it pleasing to Jesus?  We need to realize that when we hurt others, we hurt Jesus.
