      GOD’S REUNION

“But I would not have you
to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow
not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died
and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with
him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are
alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which
are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the arch-angel, and with the trump of God: and the dead
in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be
caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air,
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with
      these words.”

      1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

My sister and brother-in-law are leaving next week for vacation and they
will be going to a class reunion.  They will see a lot of loved ones
and friends.  One day, God is going to hold the greatest Reunion the
world has ever known.  One day, we will not only see our loved ones
and be reunited with them for Eternity, we will see Jesus.  Are you
going to be at God’s Reunion?

I have heard a lot of people say that you should not cry when someone dies
because you know they are going Home to be with Jesus.  I am sure
that when Jesus died, His mother’s heart was broken and she cried.
His mother knew that He was going to Heaven, but she cried because of all
the physical and emotional pain that He suffered.  She cried because
she was going to miss him.

Yes, we miss our loved ones when we are separated from them and we grieve.
Thank God, that because of the Sacrifice, Obedience, and the Love of Jesus
for us when He gave His Life for us on the Cross, one day we will be
reunited and be with our loved ones forever.

If you are not sure that you are going to be at God’s Reunion, you need to
run as fast as you can to the Heart of Jesus and ask Him to forgive you
and save you.  Don’t wait!  Tomorrow may not come for you.
None of us know when Jesus is going to call us home.  Open your heart
to Jesus and let Him write your name on His Reunion list.
