“But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.”

There was a time in my life when I asked several people to introduce me to Jesus.  I told them that I didn’t know what to say to Him.  All of those people said the same thing, “You have to talk to Him alone.”  So for years, I desperately wanted to meet Jesus and have a relationship with Him.

No one ever took me to Jesus and introduced me.  Yes, someone prayed the sinner’s prayer with me when I told Jesus I was sorry for my sins and asked Him to forgive me and come into my heart and save me.  It is not the same as knowing Him.  We have parents that we don’t even know.  We don’t know what they like, what their favorite color is, what makes them happy, and many other things.

Let me introduce you to Jesus: Jesus, this is my brother and sister who desperately wants a relationship with You.  Would You please assure them that You also want to know them in a personal way.  Put your Arms of Love and Joy around them, fill them to overflowing with the Peace that only You can give.

If you don’t know Jesus, then I urge you to run, not walk, into His open and waiting Arms. He longs to fellowship with you and kiss away your tears.
