Many years ago when I lived in Texas and was physically able to do so, I would kneel beside my bed and read my Bible out loud.  Those times are so precious to me.  That was when I first started to step out in faith even when I was not sure about a situation.

When we go to church, the pastor preaches out loud.  Sometimes a pastor will read a passage in the Bible and then preach from that passage.  If the pastor just read the Bible and never said anything about it, then we would not hear how much Jesus Loves us.

Try reading your Bible out loud while you are having your devotions and watch your faith increase.  There is a special closeness with Jesus when you read His Word out loud.

How is your faith today?  Is it weak and shaky? Are you in right standing with Jesus?  Do you know without a doubt that if Jesus were to return today that you would be ready to meet Him?  Do you have any unconfessed sin in your life?  I urge you to be ready to meet the Master, as we don’t know when He is coming.
