"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day."

Parents get so excited and proud when their children take their first step.  God also gets excited and proud when we take the first step in our Christian walk.  We will never be able to serve Jesus until we take that first step.  We need to tell others that we have asked Jesus into our heart.  Jesus has said that if we deny Him before others, He will deny us before God.

Have you taken the first step? Have you shared with others that you are a Christian?  Have you told others that Jesus Loves them? Have you told Jesus that you love Him? When Jesus turns His Light of Love on in our hearts, then we need to let others see His Love through our words and actions.

Are you walking in the Light of Jesus, or are you dwelling in the darkness of satan?  The first thing God did was to make light. We are not able to do anything while we are stumbling around in the darkness of sin.  If you haven’t allowed Jesus to turn on His Light in your heart, I urge you to ask Him to illuminate your heart with His Love and Mercy.
