“And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said, Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”

Easter will be here in two days and we will be getting together with our families and loved ones to celebrate the holiday.  The same thing happens when Christmas and Thanksgiving arrive, we get together for the holidays.  The sad part of it is, sometimes that is the only time we see our families, loved ones, and friends during the entire year.

Holidays are wonderful for us.  They bring out the good inside of us and we want to do things for others.  We need to realize that these good feelings and giving we have for others should be in our daily lives.

Easter is the Celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus.  If Jesus truly lives inside of us, then we need to be celebrating every day.  We need to let the Joy of Jesus and the Compassion of Jesus shine through us every day of the year.

Some people only go to church on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter and they think that is enough.  What they don’t realize is that it hurts the Heart of Jesus when they only recognize Him three times out of the year.

I urge you to let the Joy of Jesus’ Resurrection arise in your heart every day so that others will know that they too can have the Joy that only Jesus can give a person.
